Nicklebee.org NFP. Providing for the Future

Many school-kids from inner-city neighborhoods go to school without good shoes, a backpack and other accessories.  Nicklebee’s first order of business is to provide these essentials.  As we move forward, however, we would like to find candidates with whom we can provide scholarships to institutions that can help prepare them for college.  Otherwise they never get the chance to go to college, and never get the chance to have a normal life.  i.e. a life full of options.   Many of these kids are basically left behind, contributing to the ongoing cycle of poverty that continues generation after generation after generation.

In summary, a lot of these inner-city kids need a break.  And we are going to give it to them.

Nicklebee.org is a non-profit organization established in August 2006 for the purpose of providing scholarships for schoolchildren. Nicklebee.org provides assistance for inner city kids who have little or no access to quality education. This includes providing scholarships, logistical assistance, and/or other educational-related aid. Nicklebee.org hopes to focus its efforts on one child at-a-time.

No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) was enacted on January 8, 2002. Whether NCLB obtained its objectives is debatable.   Nevertheless, the Nicklebee moniker originates from the name of that federal act.  We simply hope to promote the idea that 'no child should be left behind.'
